Founded in 2016 by Architect Piero Venanzi and Engineers Roberto Funari and Luca Gentili, Hexagon Progetti S.r.l. brings together expertise and vision to deliver integrated solutions.
From architectural and structural design to urban planning and interior design, we approach every project with a focus on quality, innovation, and long-term value. Our team has developed solid experience in post-earthquake reconstruction, working in areas affected by the earthquakes in Abruzzo (2009), Emilia Romagna (2012), and Central Italy (2016).

Founders
Piero Venanzi
Architect with over 20 years of experience, graduated from the IUAV University of Venice and specialized in the restoration and seismic rehabilitation of historic and monumental buildings with a Second Level Master’s Degree from the University of Engineering in Perugia. He designs new residential buildings, villas, and commercial properties, with a strong specialization in the renovation of historic structures and in interior design for retail spaces. He maintains strategic relationships with companies and manufacturers to provide clients with a fully comprehensive service. Registered with the Order of Architects of Macerata (No. 423), he is a Certified Safety Coordinator, Qualified Environmental Acoustics Expert, and Certified Emergency Management Technician. Fluent in English and French.
Roberto Funari, Ph.D.
Structural Civil Engineer with a Ph.D. from the University of Camerino, where his research focused on the role of knowledge levels in assessing the seismic performance of masonry buildings. He graduated in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Marche (Ancona) with a thesis on the seismic vulnerability analysis of a school building. After collaborating with a construction company in the design and development of residential buildings, he gained extensive experience working intensively on post-earthquake reconstruction in Abruzzo (2009), Emilia Romagna (2012), and Central Italy (2016). He is specialized in seismic design, structural rehabilitation, and construction site management. Luca Gentili
Structural Civil Engineer, graduated from the Polytechnic University of Marche (Ancona). After graduation, he gained extensive experience in the post-earthquake reconstruction of Emilia Romagna, where he developed structural projects—including highly complex ones—for residential, industrial, manufacturing, and public buildings (such as schools and sports facilities). He has also acquired in-depth expertise in the structural analysis of monumental buildings (churches, prestigious historic palaces, etc.) and in the application of innovative seismic protection technologies (base isolation, dissipative bracing systems, and more). Registered since October 2013 with the Order of Engineers of Macerata (No. A1641) Certified Safety Coordinator
